JETzt podcast #32 … künstliche intelligenz
I had the honor to participate in JETzt podcast #32 about Artificial Intelligence, the latest podcast episode published by the Kammer der Ziviltechniker:innen für Wien, Niederösterreich und Burgenland, which regularly tackles current topics for architects and engineers in a conversation format with a host and two experts discussing new developments.
Hosted by Mirella Maiolo, in this episode Wolfgang Prentner, a civil engineer for information technology and myself discuss the rapid changes in the professional world brought about by artificial intelligence. We ask to what extent AI influences the intellectual and creative work of civil engineers and freelancers and analyze the resulting impacts on the profession. What do the forecasts look like? How can civil engineers prepare for these new challenges?
This podcast episode can be found on the ZT-Kammer’s homepage and also on Spotify.
We had a lot of fun doing this and – as always in debates between architects and engineers – also this conversation has a lot of interesting bits and pieces. Unfortunately the podcast is in German only. Thanks to Mirella and the entire team and of course to Wolfgang who gave me a lot of insight on the information technology side of things.
